Kite trips

PDC KITEBOARDING is chasing the wind for you around the Riviera Maya and in Mexico in general to get the most of the condition and allow PDCK’s students a faster and more proficient progression into Kiteboarding. This is why PDCK organise excursions in Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo and Yucatan.

We organise day trips to Punta Nizuc on a daily basis. We will pick you up and drop off from and to Playa del Carmen downtown with our Van. The trip is only 40min from Playa del Carmen. It is an amazing spot with greatest kite conditions, where we do our kite camps and coaching as well. It is a completely different spot compared to our Playa del Carmen’s base. It’s almost too easy to learn there! That why most of our students who start as complete beginners can ride within 3h of lesson.

We regularly organise Kitesurfing excursion to Isla Blanca Lagoon north of World class tourist destination, Cancun.
Isla Blanca is 1,5 hours away from Playa del Carmen. It is sandy peninsula stretching for about 20km. The scenery is stunning and safe. One side is dead flat and shallow its possible to kitesurf almost at any wind direction, other side has waves. The lagoon is warm like a bathtubIf you are looking for flat water and great wind, this is the spot.

El Cuyo is great, quite little fishing town with small beachfront cabanas located in Yucatan, Peninsula. It is only 2 hours away from Playa del Carmen and 2,5 hours from Cancun. El Cuyo is still unknown place among kitesurfers and considered one of the best spots in Mexico for learning kitesurfing and independent riders. There are many windy days. The white sandy beach is large and got plenty of room for launching and landing the kites. The turquoise, warm, shallow water and empty beaches are making it easy for our students to practice confidently and progress quickly in their lessons.

Progreso is a port city on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It is 4 hour away from the Playa del Carmen and Cancun. It is considered one of the best place in the world to learn and progress kiteboarding, due to its wide shallow waters and steady wind. There you will find traditional beach houses, sandy beaches and reliable winds. The wind is side on and goes from 15 to 25 knots 8 month a year. The wind is thermal it begins to blow around 1.00 pm. Meet picturesque and authentic villages of the Yucatan Peninsula. Live a unique experience via beautiful sport kiteboarding. We want you to get thrill from kiting, feel safe, be hooked on the sport and meet loads of great people.
