Good coaching comes from experience, not just certification. Our instructors have been riding, teaching and working together for years.
We know this coastline, we know the conditions, and we know that people don’t all learn the same way. We teach in English, Spanish, Italian, German, French and Greek.
We take the sport seriously. We just don’t think learning it needs to feel serious all the time.

You don’t learn kiteboarding by standing on the beach.
We explain what matters, demonstrate it clearly, and then get you doing it. Every session is built around useful practice time and the physical skills, board control and decision-making you’ll need to ride on your own.

Beyond the beach
More than one way to progress.
Some skills are better learned somewhere else. Board-control sessions at the cable park can speed up certain stages of progression, and our Tulum operation gives us another training environment when conditions or objectives call for it. Different tools. Same objective: better riders.

You don’t need to be 20.
You need good instruction, reasonable fitness and the willingness to learn. We’ve taught teenagers, parents, couples and people who discovered kiteboarding much later in life.
Progress isn’t about age. It’s about good coaching, the right conditions and time on the water.
Families & couples
Bring the family.
Learning together doesn’t mean everyone has to progress at the same speed. We organize sessions around each rider’s level, so families and couples can share the experience without turning the lesson into a group tour.
Book a private lesson each (one instructor, one student), or a semi-private lesson if you’re at a similar level.

Right here in Playa.
You don’t need to turn a kite lesson into a full-day transfer. Our beachfront base is at Coco Beach, right in Playa del Carmen: easy to reach from town and ready when conditions line up.
The spot is a wide bay protected by two outer reefs. The water is mostly flat or lightly choppy, which makes it a good place to learn. When conditions are better elsewhere, we also teach at Isla Blanca (Cancún) and other spots in the Riviera Maya.

Frequently asked questions
I’ve never tried kiteboarding. Can I start here?
Yes. Beginner lessons start on the beach with kite control and safety, then move into the water as soon as you’re ready.
How many lessons will I need?
It depends on you and on the conditions, so we don’t promise a fixed number of hours. Courses come in 3, 6, 9 and 12-hour blocks, and we’ll tell you honestly where you are after every session.
What happens if there is no wind?
No wind, no charge: we reschedule your lesson. On no-wind days you can also book board-control sessions at the cable park or the Foil Clinic with Boat.
Is all equipment included?
Yes. All equipment, helmet and flotation vest are included in every lesson.
Are lessons private?
Private lessons are one instructor, one student. Semi-private lessons are two students of similar level sharing one instructor and one set of gear. We never mix you with strangers.
Can couples or families learn together?
Yes. Book a semi-private lesson if you’re at a similar level, or a private lesson each if you progress at different speeds.
Am I too old to learn kiteboarding?
Probably not. What matters is good instruction, reasonable fitness and the willingness to learn. We adapt the pace to you.
Where is the school?
On the beach at Coco Beach, in Playa del Carmen. We’re open daily from 9:30 to 17:30. Get directions.
How do I reserve?
Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and your level. You pay on the day of your lesson by PayPal, bank transfer, cash (MXN) or crypto, and you can cancel up to 24 hours before. See our Terms & Conditions.
Can experienced riders book coaching?
Yes. Private coaching sessions are built around what you want to work on, from cleaner technique to foil.
Do I receive IKO certification?
Yes. As an official IKO Center, we can certify the level you reach during your course.
