Playa Del Carmen Kiteboarding School offers the very best in kitesurfing lessons. All the instructors are IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) certified, and supervised by IKO Instructor Level 2, Demetrio Savio. All the students will receive an IKO Certification with their kiteboarding level at the end of the course. Kitesurfing lessons are given using the latest, safest equipment, helmets and flotation devices.
We teach mostly private lessons to offer the best tailored and student-focused instructions. However, especially at the beginning of your kiteboarding course, you can choose to be in a small group of not more than 3 students per instructor.

PLEASE NOTE: The amount of time spent on each level depends on the student’s abilities and can vary significantly. Your instructors will always provide advice on the skills you’ll need to improve to confidently and safely move to the next step.

IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) certification courses are offered daily from 9:30 am till 5:30 pm (depending how much light is left) by our highly experienced IKO certified instructors. If you already have a Kiteboarding certification or other proof of your riding skills, PDCK has the latest SLINGSHOT and NORTH KITEBOARDING / DUOTONE (among others) equipment for rent.

You must be a fully independent rider and have a valid 3rd party liability insurance that covers kiteboarding to rent without supervision.
If you don’t have an IKO Kiteboarder Certification or other proof of your riding skills a 1 Hr Supervision / Advanced Lesson with one of our instructors is mandatory before you rent.
You will be fully responsible for any damages to the equipment you choose to rent.
